21. Remote control of mechanical rat traps based on vibration and audio sensors
Master-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Avdelningen för Biomedicinsk teknikSammanfattning : The main aim with this master’s thesis was to study the possibilities of detecting an event (rat trap going off) by analyzing audio streams from a MEMS (micro-electromechanical systems) microphone or movement patterns from a MEMS accelerometer. To achieve this goal, a small, power efficient and cost efficient embedded system was built with the help of a development board, a MEMS accelerometer, a MEMS microphone and a metal box where the equipment and the rat traps were placed and positioned. 22. The Dissipating Energy Flow method for analysing generator contribution to power system damping -- evaluation and interpretation
Uppsats för yrkesexamina på avancerad nivå, Lunds universitet/Industriell elektroteknik och automationSammanfattning : Electromechanical oscillations is a power system phenomenon where generator rotors oscillate, leading to oscillatory power flows. Damping of such oscillations is important for system stability. Forced oscillations is a special case where one faulty component is the source of the oscillation. LÄS MER
23. Optimisation of Electromechanical Drivetrain for Wave Energy Converter at CorPower Ocean AB
Master-uppsats, KTH/FordonsdynamikSammanfattning : The potential of wave energy has been constantly explored in past couple of years. The contribution from the CorPower Ocean AB towards the development of wave energy is important. LÄS MER
24. Optimization of Electromechanical Studies for the Connection of Hydro Generation
Master-uppsats, KTH/ElkraftteknikSammanfattning : The current model for electricity generation is based on power plants connected to the transmission network. This provides electricity to the distribution network and after that to the consumers. LÄS MER
25. Preparation and Characteristics of Bi0.5Na0.5TiO3 based Lead-Free thin films by Pulsed Laser Deposition
Master-uppsats, KTH/Skolan för elektroteknik och datavetenskap (EECS)Sammanfattning : Lead-based piezoelectric materials, such as PbZrxTi1-xO3 (PZT), have attracted considerable attention and have been widely used in actuators, sensors and transducers due to their excellent electric properties. However, considering the toxicity of lead and its oxides, environmentally friendly lead-free piezoelectric materials are attracting more attention as potential replacements for PZT. LÄS MER
