    Sammanfattning : In this study, we compare how the two expressions arigatou gozaimasu (present tense) and arigatou gozaimashita (past tense) are used during sessions of the Diet of Japan in the 1970s and in 2021. We find that usage, apart from having generally increased, has shifted from predominantly past tense to mainly present tense. LÄS MER

    Sammanfattning : NPCs (non-player characters) in computer games are often very predictable and obviously artificial, which might be the result of developers devoting more resources to maintaining high-end graphics instead of creating believable NPCs. With the graphics available today already being very realistic, upgrading the AI (artificial intelligence) controlling the NPCs could be one way of creating a game that differs from the rest. LÄS MER
