Kan den rika förekomsten av mohare Lepus timidus sylvaticus, som dokumenterats på Hållö i äldre litteratur, haft en gynnsam inverkan på de hävdgynnade arterna och den biologiska mångfald som dokumenterats på ön i tidigare kärlväxtinventeringar? Att få förståelse för vår svenska mohares roll i naturliga betesmarker kan hjälpa förvaltare att bättre och mer effektivt arbeta med naturvårdsinsatser i skyddade områden. LÄS MER

    Sammanfattning : Context: A major effect of climatic change is the global increase in forest fires, which potentially creates an increase in food availability for herbivorous species. Also vegetation density and the numbers of tree logs increase in burned sites, and this is thought to influence the perceived risk of herbivore prey species, which affects their anti‐predator behaviour and thereby the patch utilization.
