  1. 1. Control of carbon dioxide capture from biomass CHP plants : Designing a suitable control system to realize the flexible operation of the CO2 capture system

    Master-uppsats, Mälardalens universitet/Akademin för ekonomi, samhälle och teknik

    Författare :Tanmmay Rout; [2023]
    Nyckelord :Carbon capture; biomass fired combined heat and power plant; MEA based chemical absorption; flue gas; dynamic operation; PI controllers;

    Sammanfattning : This degree project studies the integration of carbon capture system into biomass fired combined heat and power (bio-CHP) plants. The key disturbances from bio-CHP plants include flue gas flow rate, carbon dioxide (CO2) concentration and available heat for the reboiler because the use of versatile biomass and the dynamic operation of CHP plants results in large fluctuations in the properties of flue gas and the heat input for CO2 capture. 3. 3. Solar PV and Lithium-ion BESS for Commercial Buildings in Sweden : Techno-economic evaluation of Peak Shaving, Energy Arbitrage and Frequency Regulation as management strategies.

    Master-uppsats, KTH/Skolan för industriell teknik och management (ITM)

    Författare :Zacharias Sköld; [2023]
    Nyckelord :Li-BESS; Solar PV; Commercial buildings; Management; Frequency Regulation; Lithium-jon-batterier; Solceller; Kommersiella Byggnader; Styrstrategier; Frekvensreglering;

    Sammanfattning : The residential and commercial sector is the largest consumer of electricity in Sweden and therefore highly affected by fluctuations in electricity price. On the other hand, there is a large potential to reduce both the electricity demand and emissions from electricity generation on a national level if measures are taken within this sector. LÄS MER

  4. 4. Hardware in Loop Simulations of Electric Drives

    Master-uppsats, KTH/Skolan för elektroteknik och datavetenskap (EECS)
