Sammanfattning: The aim of this report is to explore the research space surrounding the attitudes of people with disabilities towards groups sports and a software application that supports them. After briefly introducing the reader to how people with disabilities are often facing health issues and barriers to be physically active, the report discusses previously conducted research regarding attitudes, sports, technology, and universal as well as accessible design. A variety of both qualitative and quantitative research methods have been employed in this research process and include ideation, semi-structured interviews, content analysis, wireframing, high-fidelity prototype design, user evaluations, Likert-type questionnaires, and data analysis. Main outcomes from this study consist of insights from nine semi-structured interviews with people with disabilities as well as professional caretakers, a high-fidelity prototype for a platform that allows users to sign up for group sports, and measurements that indicate positive or somewhat positive attitudes of eight participants with disabilities towards groups sports and an application that promotes them.
