Master-uppsats,Sammanfattning : This study takes its point of departure in the concept of body of knowledge and sees this concept as including both the theoretical knowledge and the practical skills that teachers need to possess in order to be able to create well-functioning teaching in the school's everyday reality. Based on this definition the study examines, by interviewing and observing a number of Swedish history teacher students in the final phases of their teacher training, how Swedish history teacher training work with the body of knowledge to prepare students for teaching.
