  1. 1. Data-Driven Reachability Analysis of Pedestrians Using Behavior Modes : Reducing the Conservativeness in Data-Driven Pedestrian Predictions by Incorporating Their Behavior

    Master-uppsats, KTH/Skolan för elektroteknik och datavetenskap (EECS)

    Författare :August Söderlund; [2023]
    Nyckelord :Data-driven reachability analysis; Autonomous vehicles; Automated safety; Autonomous situational awareness; Datadriven nåbarhetsanalys; Autonoma fordon; Automatiserad säkerhet; Autonom situationsmedvetenhet;

    Sammanfattning : Predicting the future state occupancies of pedestrians in urban scenarios is a challenging task, especially considering that conventional methods need an explicit model of the system, hence introducing data-driven reachability analysis. Data-driven reachability analysis uses data, inherently produced by an unknown system, to perform future state predictions using sets, generally represented by zonotopes. LÄS MER

  2. 2. Analys av värmedistribution hos en kabelsko vid drift : Med hjälp av finite element analysis

    Uppsats för yrkesexamina på grundnivå, Umeå universitet/Institutionen för tillämpad fysik och elektronik

    Författare :Kachin Khamrangsee; [2023]
    Nyckelord :comsol; multiphysics;

    Sammanfattning : I detta arbete simulerades pressningsprocessen och värmeflödet hos en kabelsko genom att använda finite element analasis med hjälp av simuleringsprogrammet COMSOL Multiphysics. Syftet med värmeanalysen var för att undersöka om kabelskon får värmefläckar under drift som kan orsaka utmattning av metall. LÄS MER

  3. 3. Randomized Diagonal Estimation

    Master-uppsats, KTH/Matematik (Avd.)

    Författare :Niclas Joshua Popp; [2023]
    Nyckelord :Diagonal estimation; randomized numerical linear algebra; low-rank approximation; matrix functions; Diagonalestimering; randomiserad numerisk linjär algebra; lågrankad approximation; matrisfunktioner;

    Sammanfattning : Implicit diagonal estimation is a long-standing problem that is concerned with approximating the diagonal of a matrix that can only be accessed through matrix-vector products. It is of interest in various fields of application, such as network science, material science and machine learning. LÄS MER

  4. 4. Simulations of a self-stabilizing fully submerged hydrofoil

    Master-uppsats, KTH/Matematik (Avd.)

    Författare :Henry Jacobson; [2023]
    Nyckelord :Hydrofoil; Self-Stabilizing; Lifting Line Theory; Fluid Mechanics; Numerical Methods; Backward Differentiation Formula; Fully Submerged Hydrofoil; Bärplan; bärplansbåt; självstabiliserande; lyftande linjeteori; strömningsme- kanik; numeriska metoder; Backward Differentiation Formula; fullt nedsänkt bärplan;

    Sammanfattning : Two models of a self-stabilizing hydrofoil system is developed where the effects from the struts and hydrofoil give torques for angular rotations. Lifting line theory for the hydrofoil which can twist is used. Nonlinear versions of the models are also developed and compared to find that the linear models use valid approximations. LÄS MER

  5. 5. Dynamic simulation and 3D visualization of a floating tilted counter-rotating vertical axis offshore wind turbine

    Kandidat-uppsats,

    Författare :Lovisa Jonsson; Alexander Hedene; Klara Österling; [2023]
    Nyckelord :Wind turbine; Offshore; VAWT; CRVT; Simulation; Visualization; MATLAB; Dynamics;

    Sammanfattning : The growing global demand for clean energy is critical, and wind power plays a crucial role in addressing this need. The increasing demand is driving advancements in the field of offshore wind power and one promising innovation is the counter-rotating vertical axis turbines (CRVT), specifically designed for floating wind power installations.
