    Sammanfattning : Ankylosing Spondylitis (AS), or Bechterew’s disease, is an inflammatory rheumaticdisease that through the formation of additional bone tissue in the spine eventuallyleads to the complete fusion of the vertebrae, in effect turning the spine into one longbone.
