  1. 11. Ontology-Based SemanticWeb Mining Challenges : A Literature Review

    Kandidat-uppsats, Linnéuniversitetet/Institutionen för datavetenskap och medieteknik (DM)

    Författare :Christopher March; [2023]
    Nyckelord :Ontology; Semantic Web mining; OWL; Ontology matching; Ontology-based association rule mining;

    Sammanfattning : The semantic web is an extension of the current web that provides a standardstructure for data representation and reasoning, allowing content to be readable for both humans and machines in a form known as ontological knowledgebases. The goal of the Semantic Web is to be used in large-scale technologies or systems such as search engines, healthcare systems, and social mediaplatforms. LÄS MER

  2. 12. Duplicate detection of multimodal and domain-specific trouble reports when having few samples : An evaluation of models using natural language processing, machine learning, and Siamese networks pre-trained on automatically labeled data

    Master-uppsats, KTH/Skolan för elektroteknik och datavetenskap (EECS)

    Författare :Viktor Karlstrand; [2022]
    Nyckelord :Duplicate detection; Bug reports; Trouble reports; Natural language processing; Information retrieval; Machine learning; Siamese neural network; Transformers; Automated data labeling; Shapley values; Dubblettdetektering; Felrapporter; Buggrapporter; Naturlig språkbehandling; Informationssökning; Maskininlärning; Siamesiska neurala nätverk; Transformatorer; Automatiserad datamärkning; Shapley-värden;

    Sammanfattning : Trouble and bug reports are essential in software maintenance and for identifying faults—a challenging and time-consuming task. In cases when the fault and reports are similar or identical to previous and already resolved ones, the effort can be reduced significantly making the prospect of automatically detecting duplicates very compelling. 3. 13. Exploring the effect of stimulus list composition on the Cognate Facilitation Effect in bilingual lexical decision : A study of Danish-Swedish bilinguals

    Master-uppsats, Stockholms universitet/Institutionen för svenska och flerspråkighet

    Författare :Revekka Christina Anagnostopoulou; [2022]
    Nyckelord :Cognate facilitation effect; cognates; interlingual homographs; stimulus list composition; BIA ; Age of Acquisition; lexical decision; bilingualism;

    Sammanfattning : Cognate words have a shared orthographic and semantic representation across languages: kniv (‘knife’) in Danish means the same as kniv in Swedish. Their shared form and meaning give cognates a special status in the bilingual mental lexicon and there is robust evidence that because of this special status they are processed faster than non-cognate words. 4. 14. Embodied Avatars in Cinematic Virtual Reality : Effects on Presence, Social Presence, and Spatial Referencing.

    Master-uppsats, KTH/Skolan för elektroteknik och datavetenskap (EECS)

    Författare :Alfred Berg; [2022]
    Nyckelord :Cinematic virtual reality; embodied avatars; social presence; presence; nonverbal social cues; head-mounted displays.;

    Sammanfattning : The increasing availability of modern head-mounted displays have spurred interest in social virtual reality (VR) applications, but their immersion-inducing features limit the use of important nonverbal social cues in multiuser contexts. Embodied avatars have proven useful in increasing the social affordances of real-time rendered VR applications but remain underexplored in cinematic virtual reality (CVR). LÄS MER

  5. 15. Trade-offs between Quality and Efficiency in Multilingual Dense Retrieval

    Master-uppsats, KTH/Skolan för elektroteknik och datavetenskap (EECS)

    Författare :Emma Schüldt; [2022]
    Nyckelord :Dense retrieval; Binary Retrieval; Semantic search; ColBERT; Multilingual; MSMarco; Tät informationssökning; Binär informationssökning; Semantisk sökning; ColBERT; Flerspråkig; MS Marco;

    Sammanfattning : As the amount of content online grows, information retrieval becomes increasingly crucial. Traditional information retrieval does not take the text order into account and is also dependent on exact text matching between the query and the document. LÄS MER
