Sammanfattning: Soil erosion is a universal problem that causes landslides and poorer harvest. To estimate the soil loss of soil erosion an equation can be used, inwhich the ground slope angle is one of the factors. This leads to an increaseof soil erosion in ground slopes compared to flat ground. Therefore the aimfor this project is to develop a solution that prevents soil erosion in groundslopes. A filterwall gets developed that both detains the water and filtratesa part of it. The project started with a benchmarking to form conceptswhich later on got evaluated. The evaluation was primarily based on calculations for earth pressure. The winning concept resulted in a filterwallwhich in use should be placed after each other to create a similar system asterraces. Terracing means that the ground is formed as stairs to decreasethe flow rate of the water. To illustrate the final result, a digital prototypewas created.
