Practicing orchestral percussion excerpts

Sammanfattning: This thesis is about my own work preparing percussion orchestral excerpts that are often asked in auditions. The fundament of this work is my daily practice compared with describing blogs, books and teachers opinion and at the end, I show how I found my own way of performing the excerpt that might help others to find their ways. The purpose with this work is to contribute to an open discussion about this topic with other percussionists. As a result, I have become more independent in this process and have a more conscious practice time, focused in finding solutions in a creatively way to the problems I find.
