The purpose is to examine how MKR balanced their ideological fundamental idea and radical change in the female voting struggle during 1917-1921. The term "learned woman" includes women with knowledge that is comparable with educated knowledge, such as philosophy, science and mathematics, law, politics and so on, and knowledge that gives the woman social power, like wit or strategic thinking.
