Many cities are experiencing difficulties and immense pressure on the infrastructure by declining traffic conditions with a series of issues including longer transit times, increased fuel consumption, and greenhouse gas emissions, prompting stakeholders and policymakers to tackle the issue by introducing alternative solutions to utilise the urban infrastructure more efficiently.
