    Sammanfattning : This ethnographic study examines the state of entomophagy in Sweden amongst a group of ‘middle-class’ individuals living in urban areas of the country. In this endeavor, an analytical perspective that focuses on the embodied cultural-sensorial processes which influence how people perceive and engage with insects as food provides a richer picture, as opposed to an approach that privileges exclusively symbolic or discursive representations.     Sammanfattning : This paper examines the relationship between the sensory experience of food and cooking, how these sensory phenomena interact with questions of authenticity and memory and how this affects the process through which migrants rebuild a sense of home in theirhost nations. The data for this study has been collected through a version of short-term ethnography, where the researcher also participated in cooking sessions, which were video-recorded, in conjunction with the interviews. By using qualitative methods, a cultural analytical approach and theoretical perspectives by Sara Ahmed and Pierre Bourdieu, the aim is to create a deeper understanding of the sociocultural aspects of food, how it is consumed and how social surroundings can influence dietary choices. In this essay I hope to answer these three questions: In what way does labour operate in a material and technological aspect? How does flexibility shape the work and the worker?
