A critical discourse analysis of UN resolution 1325 UN resolution 1325 was adopted in the year of 2000 with the purpose to raise awareness regarding the impact that armed conflict has on women and the importance of their participation in conflict resolution and peace-building operations.    Sammanfattning : Through the use of feminist critical discourse analysis this study examines Sierra Leone’s National Action Plan in its implementation of UN Security Council Resolutions 1325 and 1820. The aim is to investigate whether gendered discourses in resolution 1325 have been included in the national action plan and provide an assessment of the impact this has had on the perception of women and gender within the sector of peace and security.
