ChatGPT: Aplicación y percepción de suuso en el aula de español como lengua moderna : Un estudio sobre la producción escrita en la escuela básica en Suecia

Sammanfattning: In this study we try to identify the perceptions and possible areas of use towards ChatGPT in teaching Spanish in compulsory schools in Sweden. The data has been obtained from the responses to two surveys of 6 teachers and 69 students of Spanish, combined with the results of a classroom task focusing on the writing skill with and without ChatGPT as a tool. The results of our study show that the content of students' texts could be processed based on grammar, translation, spelling, and factual content using ChatGPT. There is also an interest from both students and teachers in using ChatGPT as an element in teaching and learning Spanish. Furthermore, it is concluded that the students' use of ChatGPT in the Spanish classroom and their responses to the survey show that lexis, spelling, grammar and information content are areas where ChatGPT can be useful to practice Spanish writing skills.
