Borruds säteri - en trädgårdshistorisk undersökning

Sammanfattning: Dating back to the 15th Century, Borrud is one of the oldest manors by the lake Ymsen. Owners through the centuries has put their own mark on the house, garden and adjacent park. The old archives over the estate that one can find at Borrud, is extensive and contains notes and letters a couple of hundreds of years old. The aim and purpose of this paper is to research the historical garden and park at Borruds manor, in order to give a complete picture of the areas. Hopefully, the research can be used when creating a plan for future development and care-taking of Borruds manor. This archive study forms the basis for the garden history survey, which together with the literature study gives a combined result and a complete picture of the garden history of Borrud.
