FRA-lagen och Policy feedback

Detta är en L1-uppsats från Lunds universitet/Statsvetenskapliga institutionen

Sammanfattning: The basic relevance of this thesis is the need to always examine the democratic society and its evolvement. In the year 2008 a new law was enacted. It changed the so called ´FRA-law` which regard the institution ´Swedish Defence Radio Authority` and enabled it to wiretap all telephone and Internet traffic that crosses Sweden's borders. With these two central factors for a ´good` democratic community came to be widely debated – national security and personal integrity. The question I seek to answer is; what are the political effects of this law? I apply a theoretical framework called ´policy feedback` and the related policy theories that examines, lock-in effect, ideational and symbolic effects, state-building effects and social group effects. It does enable an analysis of the effects that followed the enactment of the law and what the law has ´caused` till this present day.
