   Sammanfattning : In this thesis I have studied the Wagner tuba and the origin of the instrument. I have learnt how to play the instrument and done recordings of an etude by Georg Kopprasch, one recording when I've just started to practice the tuba and one when I've practiced on the instrument for 2 months and these recordings where to hear the progress and development.
