  1. 1. Exploring potential E-fuel production pathways for maritime and aviation sectors in France : a techno-economic and environmental assessment

    Master-uppsats, KTH/Skolan för industriell teknik och management (ITM)

    Författare :Mathieu Minaud; [2024]
    Nyckelord :;

    Sammanfattning : The aviation and maritime industries pose significant challenges for decarbonization, having increased activity in the past decade. One promising solution to limit emissions in these sectors is Electrofuels (E-fuel), derived from water electrolysis hydrogen and captured CO2 or nitrogen. LÄS MER

  2. 2. When Flying is Inevitable : How international companies and business travelers can contribute to the transformation towards a future of sustainable aviation

    Master-uppsats, KTH/Industriell ekonomi och organisation (Inst.)

    Författare :Frida Sjöström; [2024]
    Nyckelord :Carbon Neutral; Business aviation; Sustainable Aviation; Sustainable Strategy; Sustainable Aviation Fuel; Hydrogen; Electric; Switzerland; Technology-Push; DemandPull.; Koldioxidneutralt; affärsflyg; hållbart flyg; hållbar strategi; hållbart flygbränsle; vätgas; elflyg; Schweiz; Technology-Push; Demand-Pull;

    Sammanfattning : This thesis emerged from a question that had been repeating itself in my head for a long period of time: If myself and the rest of the world face the fact that we are likely to keep flying for years to come for reasons somehow considered valid, how can we at the same time still contribute efficiently to achieving a more sustainable future of aviation? Based on this dilemma and focusing on the factor of impact, an actor with the power of creating a larger impact than a single individual was firstly identified. This actor also provides the perspective used in this thesis. LÄS MER

  3. 3. Investigating the dynamics between the developing Nordic hydrogen market and the electricity system under uncertainty

    Master-uppsats, KTH/Energiteknik

    Författare :Timon Renzelmann; [2024]
    Nyckelord :energy modelling; energy storage; global sensitivity analysis; hydrogen; Method of Morris; Nordics; OSeMOSYS; uncertainty analysis; energimodellering; energilagring; global känslighetsanalys; vätgas; Morris-metoden; Nordiska länder; OSeMOSYS; osäkerhetsanalys;

    Sammanfattning : The potential of hydrogen as a clean energy carrier is hotly debated, but it promises to significantly contribute to a sustainable energy future. Hydrogen can replace fossil fuels in carbon-intensive industries, heavy transport and aviation, and support a renewable energysystem by acting as energy storage to balance intermittent supply. 4. 4. The Fuel-cell Trucks Ecosystem - Identifying change and strategizing in emerging ecosystem

    Master-uppsats, Göteborgs universitet/Graduate School

    Författare :Johannes Tröndle; Sendy Setiawan; [2023-07-20]
    Nyckelord :business ecosystem; innovation ecosystem; shaping strategy; ecosystem risks; industry standards; fuel-cell trucks; hydrogen; ecosystem framework; strategic framework;

    Sammanfattning : With the goal to reduce global greenhouse-gas emissions and transportation being a major reason for these emissions, new transportation solutions are needed. One solution is the use of fuel-cell trucks that are powered by hydrogen which are embedded in a young ecosystem. LÄS MER

  5. 5. Stability improvement to a ruthenium catalyst for partial oxidation of methane

    Master-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Kemiteknik (CI)

    Författare :Melker Axelsson; [2023]
    Nyckelord :catalysis; reaction engineering; kinetics; partial oxidation; chemical engineering; Technology and Engineering;

    Sammanfattning : Catalytic partial oxidation of methane (CPOM) is an energy-efficient alternative to steam reforming, the currently prevailing method for energy production from natural gas. Hulteberg Chemistry & Engineering AB has developed a catalyst for the partial oxidation of methane into syngas, for use in solid oxide fuel cells. LÄS MER
