  1. 1. Unraveling the Tectonic History of the Aurek Metagabbro within the Seve Nappe Complex, Scandinavian Caledonides

    Master-uppsats, Uppsala universitet/Institutionen för geovetenskaper

    Författare :Sabine Rousku; [2021]
    Nyckelord :Scandinavian Caledonides; Seve Nappe Complex; Aurek metagabbro; Kebnekaise Mountains; Zircon U-Pb Geochronology; Thermodynamic modeling; Geochemistry; Skandinaviska Kaledoniderna; Seveskollan; Aurek metagabbro; Kebnekaisebergen; zirkon U-Pb geokronologi; Termodynamisk modellering; Geokemi;

    Sammanfattning : The Scandinavian Caledonides form a mountain range comprising nappe stacks of numerous far-travelled thrust sheets. The thrust sheets consist of diverse lithologies representing pre- and synorogenic sedimentary and igneous rocks subsequently metamorphosed to various degrees, from the Late Neoproterozoic to Middle Devonian. 2. 2. Skidturism för alla? : En enkätstudie kring tillgänglighet, påverkan och val i Kebnekaisemassivet med omnejd

    M1-uppsats, Umeå universitet/Institutionen för ekologi, miljö och geovetenskap

    Författare :Mio Isenrot; [2017]

    Sammanfattning : This article explores who the people in the mountain world are and what makes them choose the activities they do through a questionnaire survey with information about gender, age, place of birth, education level, mountain habit and the sense of accessibility, self-esteem and factors that influence the choice of mountain activities. The results from the study show that most people who visit the mountains come from southern Sweden and from outside the Nordic countries. LÄS MER

  3. 3. Fjällfåglar : En jämförande studie från dal till topp i ett nordligt och sydligt svenskt fjäll

    M1-uppsats, Institutionen för ekologi, miljö och geovetenskap

    Författare :Kristian Zackrisson; [2011]
    Nyckelord :birds; elevation zone; mountains; species; individuals;

    Sammanfattning : Title: Mountain birds – a comparative study from valley to mountaintop in a northern and southern Swedish fjeld   Author: Kristian Zackrisson   Abstract Main aim in this study was to increase the knowledge about birds in the Swedish mountain area. Three questions were asked: 1) Which bird species can be found during the breeding season along a low mountain slope from a forested valley to a mountaintop with bare mountain environment? 2) Do the number of species and individuals differ in different elevation zones? 3) Is the composition of bird species along a low mountain slope the same in the Kebnekaise mountains inLaplandand the Grövelsjön mountains in Dalarna? Bird census in two study sites located in the Kebnekaise mountains and the Grövelsjön mountains and subsequent analysis of the results from the bird census was the main parts in this study. LÄS MER

  4. 4. 40Ar/39Ar geokronologi och implikationer för tolkningen av den Kaledoniska utvecklingen i Kebnekaise

    Magister-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Geologiska institutionen

    Författare :Jonas Ekestubbe; [2004]
    Nyckelord :geografi; geologi; geokronologi; Kebnekaise; 40Ar 39Ar; Kaledoniderna; Earth and Environmental Sciences;

    Sammanfattning : Den traditionella uppfattningen angående de Skandinaviska kaledonidernas utveckling är att den skett i två steg; genom en tidig Finnmarkisk och en senare Skandisk fas. 40 Ar/39 Ar-dateringar på Seve Skollkomplex har också gett mellanliggande åldrar, vilket indikerar på att det snarare skett en kontinuerlig deformation av den Baltoskandiska kontinentkanten. 5. 5. Tektonostratigrafi och deformationsrelaterad metamorfos i norra Kebnekaisefjällen, Skandinaviska Kaledoniderna

    Magister-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Geologiska institutionen

    Författare :Daniel Boman; [2001]
    Nyckelord :geografi; geologi; tektonostratigrafi; Kaledoniderna; Kebnekaisefjällen; metamorfos; deformation; Earth and Environmental Sciences;

    Sammanfattning : The tectonostratigraphic units in northern Kebnekaise Mountains mainly belong to the Seve Nappe Complex. These rocks were originally formed at the continental margin of Baltica in Late-Proterozoic time and mainly consist of amphibolite, granitic gneisses and metasediments. The metamorphic grade is usually amphibolite facies. LÄS MER
