  1. 1. Energy in the Transportation System - A comparison of charging infrastructure scenarios

    Uppsats för yrkesexamina på avancerad nivå, Lunds universitet/Industriell elektroteknik och automation

    Författare :Judith Lai Jakobsson; [2023]
    Nyckelord :Charging infrastructure; road transport electrification; battery capacity need; electric vehicles; Technology and Engineering;

    Sammanfattning : A functioning charging infrastructure is crucial for achieving full-scale national electrification within the transport sector. The system is likely to consist of different charging technologies, all with the main objective of providing efficient energy replenishment services. LÄS MER

  2. 2. Small hauliers' perception of battery electric vehicles : An investigation of opportunities, barriers and potential ownership models

    Master-uppsats, Linköpings universitet/Logistik- och kvalitetsutveckling

    Författare :Magdalena Bohlin; Emma Dahlin; [2023]
    Nyckelord :Transport; Haulier; Battery electric vehicle;

    Sammanfattning : Today, one third of Sweden’s total greenhouse gas emissions come from domestic transport. To reduce these emissions, the Swedish government has set emission targets. To meet these and to avoid the global impacts of climate changes, the need for new technologies and new fuels to replace fossil fuels has become evident. LÄS MER

  3. 3. Design and control of EV based peer-to-peer energy sharing framework for improving energy performances of building communities

    Master-uppsats, Högskolan Dalarna/Institutionen för information och teknik

    Författare :Anthony Board; [2023]
    Nyckelord :C2C; Photovoltaic; Location Coordinated Control; Energy Storage; Electric Vehicle; Power Balance; Peak Reduction; Self-Consumption;

    Sammanfattning : Electric vehicles, which have both energy storage capability and mobility capability, can provide a new solution for electricity sharing between different building communities (i.e., a group of buildings connected with a microgrid). This comes to the community-to-community (C2C) energy sharing network. LÄS MER

  4. 4. Life Cycle Assessment of Electric Road Systems - Climate impact in comparison with battery electric vehicles, biogas vehicles and fuel cell electric vehicles

    Uppsats för yrkesexamina på avancerad nivå, Lunds universitet/Miljö- och energisystem

    Författare :Ebba Söderström; Emanuel Bengtsson; [2022]
    Nyckelord :Electric road systems; Elonroad; life cycle assessment; rail; feed-in station; pick-up; on-board charger; climate impact; global warming potential; articulated lorry; lower medium car; bus; Technology and Engineering;

    Sammanfattning : One third of Sweden's total annual greenhouse gas emissions originate from the transport sector today and great changes are thus needed in order to reach the net zero emission target by 2045. One of the most important measures discussed is an increased electrification of the transport sector and a solution with potential to contribute to this transition is electric road systems (ERS), where vehicles are charged dynamically. 5. 5. Extension of low voltage distribution by pure DC or mixed AC/DC parts for integration of solar PV and EV charging

    Master-uppsats, KTH/Skolan för elektroteknik och datavetenskap (EECS)

    Författare :Sofie Jiang; [2022]
    Nyckelord :LVDC; LVAC; solar PV system; electric vehicle charging station; IKN-regulation; distribution system; RES integration; LVDC; LVAC; solceller; elfordon; laddstolpar; IKN-regelverk; distributionsnät; förnyelsebara energikällor;

    Sammanfattning : This work examines the local distribution system in two residential areas in two Swedish towns, Oxelösund and Karlskrona, and studies how integration of PV systems and electric vehicle (EV) charging stations (CS) will affect the present distribution system. The research questions focus on the economic feasibility of a LVDC system, how it compares to a traditional LVAC (low voltage alternating current) system from an economic and technical perspective, and the possibilities a LVDC system brings to other DC component applications.
