    Sammanfattning : Föryngring med mekanisk sådd och naturlig föryngring är välbeprövade föryngringsmetoder i svenskt skogsbruk och uppgår idag till tre respektive åtta procent av den totala föryngringsarealen. För att ge en god kvantitativ effekt på plantornas överlevnad och höjdtillväxt används det i stor omfattning någon form av markberedning för att blottlägga mineraljorden och skapa en bättre groningspunkt för plantan.
