  1. 1. ARCTIC PLANT COMMUNITIES RISE WITH TEMPERATURE Plant functional traits as a tool to predict global climate change

    Master-uppsats, Göteborgs universitet / Institutionen för biologi och miljövetenskap

    Författare :Helena Sundell; [2022-07-06]
    Nyckelord :Arctic warming; plant functional traits; Community Weighted Mean; vegetational changes; global climate change;

    Sammanfattning : Global warming occurs at a rate at least three-fold in the arctic regions compared to the rest of the world. Here, plant community functional traits were assessed in response to experimental warming in three arctic areas of Fennoscandia (Latnajajure, Abisko and Kilpisjärvi). LÄS MER

  2. 2. Temperature-dependent waterbinding on potassiumbirnessite : A potential sorbent for atmospheric water harvesting

    Kandidat-uppsats, Umeå universitet/Kemiska institutionen

    Författare :Hanna Oderstad; [2022]
    Nyckelord :;

    Sammanfattning : The nanolayered manganese oxide birnessite (MnO2) is a naturally occurring mineralin soils and sediments. Its ability to capture and store water within its interlayers, andits great solar absorptivity, could be a part of the solution to global water shortage. LÄS MER

  3. 3. "Customers’ expectations have never been higher" : A quantitative study of customers’ perceptions of customer experiences delivered by physical beauty and makeup stores in Sweden.

    Kandidat-uppsats, Linnéuniversitetet/Institutionen för marknadsföring (MF)

    Författare :Jonathan Linnér; Isabella Olsson; [2022]
    Nyckelord :Customer experience; Beauty and makeup retailer; In-store environment; Experiential dimensions; Atmospheric; Sensory marketing; In-store technologies;

    Sammanfattning : The aim of this bachelor thesis is to examine which experiential dimensions that are perceived as important for customers and how these dimensions are delivered by Swedish beauty and makeup retailers. The focus is to examine how their physical in-store environments succeeds with delivering extraordinary customer experiences. LÄS MER

  4. 4. Upplevelser av butiksatmosfärer med materiella och immateriella faktorer i fokus : En fallstudie av Porsche Center i Segeltorp och i Malmö

    Kandidat-uppsats, Södertörns högskola/Företagsekonomi

    Författare :Celine Lindberg; Filippa Forsstedt; [2021]
    Nyckelord :Porsche; sensory strategies; sensory experiences; sensory marketing; brand image; customer experiences; perception; senses; retail atmospherics; retail environments; consumer behavior.; Porsche; sinnesstrategier; sinnesupplevelser; sinnesmarknadsföring; varumärkesimage; kundupplevelser; perception; sinnen; detaljhandelsatmosfär; detaljhandelsmiljöer; konsumentbeteende.;

    Sammanfattning : The aim of the bachelor’s thesis is to examine whether the atmospheric experience differs between two different stores within the same brand, depending on tangible and intangible elements. The authors have focused on how certain selected elements have been implemented in the store environments, to identify whether these can steer the atmospheric experience in different directions. 5. 5. Kan våra jordar rädda klimatet?

    Master-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Miljövetenskaplig utbildning

    Författare :My Knutsson; [2020]
    Nyckelord :Soil organic carbon; carbon sequestration; carbon storage; temperate; land use; agricultural land; pasture land; forest; urban park and Lund; Earth and Environmental Sciences;

    Sammanfattning : Reducing greenhouse gas emissions from land use, and increasing carbon storage in soils, is an important climate mitigation strategy. I conducted a literature study based on 174 articles to investigate the potential of temperate forest-, agricultural- and pasture land and urban parks to store carbon in soils; identified measures that could increase their storage potential by increasing the rate of sequestration of atmospheric carbon or slow the rate of carbon loss from soils and vegetation; and used these results to estimate potential carbon uptake by the Municipality of Lund, Sweden to 2030.
