Sammanfattning: How do preschool teachers express the clarified responsibility to educate children in preschool? This study focused on the resposibility preschool teachers interpret and experience concerning the clarified resposibility of teaching in preschool that the curriculum 2010 states. Further, the aim was to fins out if the responsibility according to them has affected the education in the preschool and in that case how. Did this reform raise the quality of the education according to the preschool teachers? This study was conducted through interviews with 3 preschool teachers and also a questionnaire which was answered by 46 preschool teachers. The result showed that the participants had a variety of experiences in regards to the clarified responsibility. Theres was a range from not having implemented it at all to that the preschool teachers actively and consciously reflected upon their responsibility and through systematic quality work raise the quality at the preschool.
