Sammanfattning: The background to this study is based on a curiosity about how high school students experience the use of digital tools in the teaching of sports and health. This purpose is very current and of particular relevance because today's society is undergoing a tangible digitization process that affects society to a great extent. The purpose of the study was to investigate high school students' views on the use of digital tools in the subject of sports and health, connected to the main purpose there are two central questions that deal with motivation connected to the use of digital tools in the subject of sports and health. The study has a qualitative approach with focus group interviews and through analysis of the result three different categories was created, partly that the high school students feel that the use of digital tools can promote more enjoyable teaching. The high school students also felt that the digital tools are not used optimally, the last category was about the students feeling that the use of digital tools in the subject of sports and health can contribute to an increased performance-based teaching environment. Through discussion of the results in connection with previous research, some conclusions can be drawn, including that the physical education profession should develop its competence regarding how to interact with digital tools in a pedagogical way with the students in focus and that the digital tools create more engaged students who take to themselves knowledge.
