    Sammanfattning : The purpose of this thesis is to analyze and understand how the “kidult” experience could be connected to the experience of the consumerism side of mass tourism and sexual tourism in the novel Puerto Plata Market written by Aldo Nove. This paper will show how the bad tourism phenomenon is connected to the infantilized adult by applying a theoretical framework including the Jungian archetype puer aeternus, the references to the so called “kidult” phase as well as the Kantian state of immaturity.
