    Sammanfattning : This thesis analyzes how the field of library and information science is constituted in 580 theses written between 2000-2010, by library and information science students at the three Swedish universities Borås, Uppsala and Lund. Furthermore, I investigate how the findings from the three universities differ from each other and how the results as a whole can be understood in relation to libraries and librarianship as fields of practice.
