1. Exhaust system for hydrogen fuelled combustion engines: effect of high-water content on the SCR vanadium catalyst
Master-uppsats, KTH/Skolan för industriell teknik och management (ITM)Sammanfattning : Transportation represents a key secot in the journey towards a greener future, and alternative solutions are needed to meet the decarbonaisation need. Hydrogen internal combustion engines could represent a solution in the short-term, allowing for emission reduction with limited modification to the already existing traditional combustion engines. 2.
3. Model Predictive Urea Dosing Control Strategy for Heavy-Duty Diesel Vehicles
Master-uppsats, KTH/Skolan för elektroteknik och datavetenskap (EECS)Sammanfattning : Stricter requirements on the reduction of Nitrogen Oxides (NOx) in the emissions of heavy-duty diesel vehicles drives development for more efficient aftertreatment systems. An ammonia covered catalyst is one of the most successful technologies in reducing NOx by converting it into the harmless byproducts water and nitrogen. LÄS MER
4. Urban Planning for Better Air Quality : A case study of the Low-Traffic Neighbourhoods in London
Master-uppsats, KTH/Hållbar utveckling, miljövetenskap och teknikSammanfattning : Air pollution affects the environment negatively, boosts climate change, and is the cause of millions of deaths per year, first and foremost affecting the people living in urban areas. Since the early 20th century, many cities have been planned around cars, which are the main contributors to the bad air quality. LÄS MER
5. MEASURING ECO-EFFICIENCY OF PRODUCTION IN OECD MEMBER COUNTRIES : A STOCHASTIC FRONTIER ANALYSIS
Master-uppsats, Umeå universitet/NationalekonomiSammanfattning : This paper analyzed the eco-efficiency of 27 OECD member countries by using output-oriented Stochastic Frontier Analysis (SFA) model. In the set-up of the model, Gross Domestic Product (GDP) was used as a good output whereas Carbon dioxide (CO2), Sulphur dioxide (SO2) and Nitrogen oxide (NOx) emissions were used as bad outputs.
