  1. 1. Influence of structural complexity of the Rumperöd forest on evapotranspiration

    Kandidat-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Institutionen för naturgeografi och ekosystemvetenskap

    Författare :Madeleine Durdek; [2023]
    Nyckelord :Forest structural complexity; evapotranspiration; vapour pressure deficit; eddy covariance; Earth and Environmental Sciences;

    Sammanfattning : The influence of Forest Structural Complexity (FSC) on evapotranspiration (ET) was investigated in a mixed forest of Southern Sweden where micrometeorological Eddy Covariance (EC) measurements were conducted for the years 2015 to 2022. For each year, the top 25% of Vapour Pressure Deficit (VPD) were selected to emphasize the response of ET to the driest atmospheric conditions. LÄS MER

  2. 2. Assessing tree modeling algorithm from terrestrial laser scanning in Rumperöd mixed forest

    Kandidat-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Institutionen för naturgeografi och ekosystemvetenskap

    Författare :Stig Sand; [2023]
    Nyckelord :Terrestrial laser scanning; Hough transform algorithm; TreeLS; Rumperöd; Biology and Life Sciences;

    Sammanfattning : Recent technological advancements have revolutionized tree inventory methods for the forest industry. The development of terrestrial laser scanning (TSL) and automatized tree recognition software to estimate crucial tree parameters such as diameter at breast height (DBH) has made the inventory work faster and more reliable. 3. 3. Forest Reaction to the 2018 Drought : comparing the Hyltemossa and Rumperöd Forests

    Kandidat-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Institutionen för naturgeografi och ekosystemvetenskap

    Författare :Emily Delin; [2019]
    Nyckelord :forest; drought; forest management; ecosystem flux; physical geography and ecosystem science; Earth and Environmental Sciences;

    Sammanfattning : This paper analyzes the reactions of two forests, located in the same region, to drought conditions that occurred in 2018. Both locations experienced similar conditions including higher temperature and less precipitation than the previous four years. LÄS MER
