  1. 6. Grön Betong i husproduktion : Att kompensera för lägre hållfasthetsutveckling i slaggbetong

    Uppsats för yrkesexamina på grundnivå, Uppsala universitet/Tillämpad mekanik

    Författare :Andreas Neves Lundin; [2021]
    Nyckelord :Slag Concrete; Carbon emissions; Cement; Strength development; Building construction; Slaggbetong; Koldioxidemissioner; cement; hållfasthetstillväxt; Huskonstruktion;

    Sammanfattning : Concrete is one of the world's most widely used building materials,but due to the high carbon dioxide emissions produced by the concretecomponent Portland cement, there is a growing need of alternativeconcrete recipes that require less portland cement. When you replace aportion of the Portland cement in the concrete recipe with an additivematerial such as granulated blast furnace slag, the carbon dioxideemissions decrease, but the strength growth becomes slower. 2. 7. Potentiella miljörisker med geoenergisystems temperaturpåverkan i mark och grundvatten

    Kandidat-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Miljövetenskaplig utbildning

    Författare :Julia Nilsson; [2020]
    Nyckelord :Geoenergi; grundvattenkemi; mikroorganismer; flora; fauna; Earth and Environmental Sciences;

    Sammanfattning : The aim of this literature study was to answer whether the thermal impact of geothermal energy systems pose a potential environmental risk to groundwater quality and microorganisms in the sub surface and to above ground vegetation. This study shows that the thermal impact of high temperature systems operating with temperatures ≥25⁰C in groundwater could lead to adverse effects on groundwater chemistry and biodiversity, such as mobilization of arsenic and DOC. 3. 8. Feedback effects in the Arctic region and how they affect the global climate

    Master-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Miljövetenskaplig utbildning

    Författare :Lotta Nyman; [2020]
    Nyckelord :Arctic warming; Arctic change; Climate feedback effect; Lower latitude weather; Arctic amplification; Permafrost; Earth and Environmental Sciences;

    Sammanfattning : The Arctic is warming at a rate two to three times that of the global average. Although only covering a small area of the globe, it is a vital component of the climate system. Through climatic feedback effects the warming is enhanced, and risks leading to further climate change. LÄS MER

  4. 9. Modeling least cost electricity system scenarios for Bangladesh using OSeMOSYS

    Kandidat-uppsats, KTH/Hållbar utveckling, miljövetenskap och teknik

    Författare :John Mogren Olsson; [2020]
    Nyckelord :Bangladesh; Energy System Model; Scenarios; OSeMOSYS; Carbon Dioxide Emissions; Bangladesh; Energisystem model; Scenarion; OSeMOSYS; Koldioxidutsläpp;

    Sammanfattning : In order to achieve sustainable development, countries like Bangladesh need to develop their electricity systems to guarantee their citizens access to modern energy services and achieve economic development, while not compromising the global climate. The purpose of this study is to examine what mix of technologies leads to the least costs for the electricity system under different scenario assumptions. LÄS MER

  5. 10. How soon is now? Exploring mitigation of short-lived greenhouse gases in the landscape of climate risk and policies on metrics

    Master-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Miljövetenskaplig utbildning

    Författare :Edwin Klint Bywater; [2020]
    Nyckelord :Global warming; GWP; GTP; methane; short-lived greenhouse gases; short-lived climate forcers; climate policy; climate risk; climate crisis; carbon pricing; climate negotiations; technocracy.; Earth and Environmental Sciences;

    Sammanfattning : In the collected efforts towards understanding earth’s climate system, and acting on climate change, the time dimension is of central importance. When humanity’s collected activity is carbon-neutral, and how the trajectory towards such a state might look, is a tough question to answer. LÄS MER
