1. Unlocking Poliphilo’s Dream: Towards a digital scholarly edition of the Hypnerotomachia Poliphili
Master-uppsats, Linnéuniversitetet/Institutionen för kulturvetenskaper (KV)Sammanfattning : Hypnerotomachia Poliphili is a fifteenth-century illustrated incunabulum first published in 1499 by Aldo Manuzio in Venice. It delivers the story of two lovers separated by death but united in a dream; in fact, the entire book is a complex, multi-layered dream narrative which gradually unfolds through the interaction between text and image, inviting readers to engage with its rich content in a playful manner. 2. Bridging Language & Data : Optimizing Text-to-SQL Generation in Large Language Models
Master-uppsats, Linköpings universitet/Artificiell intelligens och integrerade datorsystemSammanfattning : This thesis explores text-to-SQL generation using Large Language Models within a financial context, aiming to assess the efficacy of current benchmarks and techniques. The central investigation revolves around the accuracy of the BIRD-Bench benchmark and the applicability of text-to-SQL models in real-world scenarios. LÄS MER
3. Assessing the Costs and Benefits of Proactively Adding Features in opensource system Bitcoin-Wallet: A Simulation study
Kandidat-uppsats, Göteborgs universitet/Institutionen för data- och informationsteknikSammanfattning : Objective: This paper builds on previous research and expands on the cost-benefit analysis of proactive feature annotation, with a focus on using Java to validate the findings from a real-world case study. Background: The significance of features within a system lies behind the need to locate them as they often necessitate identification for enhancement, and editing-related activities. LÄS MER
4. How negation influences word order in languages : Automatic classification of word order preference in positive and negative transitive clauses
Master-uppsats, Uppsala universitet/Institutionen för lingvistik och filologiSammanfattning : In this work, we explore the possibility of using word alignment in parallel corpus to project language annotations such as Part-of-Speech tags and dependency relation from high-resource languages to low-resource languages. We use a parallel corpus of Bible translations, including 1,444 translations in 986 languages, and a well-developed parser is used to annotate source languages (English, French, German, and Czech). 5. Self-learning for 3D segmentation of medical images from single and few-slice annotation
Master-uppsats, KTH/Skolan för elektroteknik och datavetenskap (EECS)Sammanfattning : Training deep-learning networks to segment a particular region of interest (ROI) in 3D medical acquisitions (also called volumes) usually requires annotating a lot of data upstream because of the predominant fully supervised nature of the existing stateof-the-art models. To alleviate this annotation burden for medical experts and the associated cost, leveraging self-learning models, whose strength lies in their ability to be trained with unlabeled data, is a natural and straightforward approach.
