  1. 1. Application of Fourier Transforms to time-resolved ambient pressure spectroscopy operando studies of CO oxidation over Pt(111)

    Master-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Fysiska institutionen; Lunds universitet/Synkrotronljusfysik

    Författare :Grigore-Leon Ratiu; [2024]
    Nyckelord :Physics and Astronomy;

    Sammanfattning : The study of heterogeneous catalysis has important implications in increasing the efficiency of industrial processes and in reducing the emissions of greenhouse gases from sources such as automobiles. A reaction with high industrial relevance is the oxidation of CO on noble metal catalysts. LÄS MER

    Sammanfattning : Mass spectroscopy imaging (MSI) has become a vital tool in modern research due to its ability to visualize the spatial distribution of molecules within tissue samples. The collaboration between researchers at AZ, the University of Gothenburg, and Chalmers University of Technology using the NanoSIMS instrument and MSI-SIMS technology has opened up new avenues of exploration in pharmaceutical development, particularly in examining drugs and metabolites at sub-cellular levels. 3. 3. Can blue mussel shells be used for retrospective 14C-analysis in the marine environment of nuclear power plants?

    Kandidat-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Fysiska institutionen; Lunds universitet/Partikel- och kärnfysik

    Författare :Sofia Bjarheim; [2024]
    Nyckelord :Radionuclide; Marine Environment; Blue Mussels; 14C; Nuclear Power Plant; Physics and Astronomy;

    Sammanfattning : Carbon-14 (14C) is one of the most important contributors to the collective effective dose of the public due to radioactive releases from nuclear power plants. However, the discharge of 14C from nuclear power plants (NPPs) into water has not been measured previously. LÄS MER

  4. 4. Transportkedjans påverkan på nettoeffekten av CCS

    Kandidat-uppsats, Göteborgs universitet/Företagsekonomiska institutionen

    Författare :David Mårgård; Anton Lindblom; [2023-09-01]
    Nyckelord :CCS; koldioxidneutralitet; CO2-trasporter; klimatmål;

    Sammanfattning : Med syftet att reducera den globala uppvärmningen har mål satts upp av Europeiska unionen och dess medlemsstater. Målet för Europeiska unionen är att bli den första ekonomin i världen att uppnå klimatneutralitet. Sverige har satt sina egna ramverk och mål för att uppnå målet. LÄS MER

  5. 5. Land Use and Land Cover Changes in Europe and the Impact on Near-Surface Wind Speed in Sweden

    Master-uppsats, Göteborgs universitet/Institutionen för geovetenskaper

    Författare :Nils Philipp Stange; [2023-08-18]
    Nyckelord :;

    Sammanfattning : Investigations of Land use and land cover change (LULCC) have recently become of increasing interest. This trend occurs not only based of the importance of biogeochemical processes such as carbon sequestration, but also because of their climate impacts caused by changed biogeophysical properties.
