Sammanfattning: Hard-made surfaces grow over our cities and cause a problem with our natural infiltration.The natural water cycle is interrupted, which results in lower groundwater levels, poorerpurification of dissolved and unsolved particles and a greater impact on our stormwaternetwork. Requirements for delays in stormwater are increasing, which puts greater pressureon the industry. To be able to delay stormwater on the property, a great deal of knowledgeis required about which parameters need to be considered. This may be available area,groundwater, topographic and geological conditions and not least the water volumes to bedimensioned. As the market offers a great variety of local wastewater treatment (LOD)solutions, this thesis aims to facilitate the selection of this.An excel tool, that takes into account these parameters and gives suggestions on which LODsolutions are suitable for the specific project, has been researched and developed.the thesis shows how great the variation is between the different LOD solutions and whatits specific strengths and weaknesses are.
