  1. 1. Off-State Stress Effects in AlGaN/GaN HEMTs : Investigation of high-voltage off-state stress impact on performance of and its retention in hybrid-drain ohmic gate AlGaN/GaN HEMTs

    Master-uppsats, KTH/Skolan för elektroteknik och datavetenskap (EECS)

    Författare :Ivan Krsic; [2023]
    Nyckelord :HEMT; GaN; off-state stress; memory effects; drain leakage current; dynamic RDSon; threshold voltage instabilities; charge redistribution; HEMT; GaN; stress i avslaget tillstånd; minneseffekter; läckströmmen; dynamisk RDSon; instabiliteten hos styrets tröskelspänning; omfördelningen av laddningar;

    Sammanfattning : High electron mobility transistors (HEMTs) realized using AlxGa1-xN/GaN are relatively new technology which is prominent for high-speed and high-power applications. Some of the main problems with this technology were identified as dynamic RDSon, current collapse and threshold voltage instabilities due to the off-state stress. LÄS MER

  2. 2. Dielectric Response of SiC-based Stress Grading Material Used in Electrical Machines

    Master-uppsats, KTH/Skolan för elektroteknik och datavetenskap (EECS)

    Författare :Shilin Zhao; [2021]
    Nyckelord :Dielectric frequency response; End corona protection; Finite element method; High voltage rotating machines; Stator insulation; Dielektrisk frekvensrespons; Ändglimmskydd; Finita element metoden; Högspänningsmaskiner; Statorisolering;

    Sammanfattning : High Voltage (HV) rotating machines are widely used in power generation and heavy industry companies. Silicon Carbide (SiC) material is used in the stress grading structure of HV electric machines because of its non-linear characteristic. LÄS MER

  3. 3. Designing a Physical Unclonable Function for Cryptographic Hardware

    Master-uppsats, Linköpings universitet/Institutionen för teknik och naturvetenskap; Linköpings universitet/Tekniska fakulteten

    Författare :Ludwig Bergfalck; Johannes Engström; [2021]
    Nyckelord :Hardware-based keyseed; Tamper protection; Physical Unclonable Function PUF ; Sensing mesh enclosure; Differential capacitance measurements;

    Sammanfattning : Hardware Security Modules (HSMs) are embedded systems that provide a physically secure data storage and handling environment. This master thesis evaluates an HSM method incorporating cryptographic key generation, key management, and tamper protection. LÄS MER

  4. 4. Barrier properties of model coatings using recycled iron oxide pigment

    Uppsats för yrkesexamina på grundnivå, KTH/Skolan för kemi, bioteknologi och hälsa (CBH)

    Författare :Nathalie Hagenfjärd; [2021]
    Nyckelord :Organic coatings; Iron oxide pigment; EIS; Barrier properties;

    Sammanfattning : The aim of this study was to compare the barrier properties of organic coatings with the same polymer matrix but different types of iron oxide particles, commercial and recycled. The work was carried out for the company SSAB with the aim of investigating whether the pigment Merox ferric oxide, which is produced in-house at the company during the pickling process, can be used and replace commercial iron oxide pigment. 5. 5. Electrical analysis of interface recombination of thin-film CIGS solar cells

    Master-uppsats, Uppsala universitet/Institutionen för fysik och astronomi

    Författare :Henrik Lotse; [2020]
    Nyckelord :interface recombination; SCAPS; activation energy; temperature dependent IV; dominant recombination path;

    Sammanfattning : In this master thesis, electrical characterization of thin film CuInxGa(1−x)Se2 solar cells produced by Midsummer AB were performed with the aim of determining the dominant recombination path of these cells. Current-Voltage (IV), Quantum Effinciency (QE), temperature dependent IV (IVT) and Drive-Level Capacitance Profiling (DLCP) was used with the objective to investigate the dominant recombination path as well as provide some insight of the solar cells in order to create a baseline model using the modelling software SCAPS (Solar cell CAPacitance Simulator).
