    Sammanfattning : The thesis aims to study what kind of power the EU seeks to project in its foreign policy relationship with the state of Israel and adds to the research field by testing the foreign policy diplomacy through speeches and official documents against the normative power theory as well as the market power theory. Previous research speak of the asymmetrical political relationship between the two actors because of the Israeli governments’ belief that the Union is “pro-Arab”, the financial and trade relationship since the EU is Israel’s number one trading partner and finally the theories within the research field of what kind of global power Union is.     Sammanfattning : This quantitative content analysis, with a theoretical framework based on framing theory and Hallin’s Spheres, studies how Swedish newspapers reported on a debate surrounding Drag Story Hour (DSH) and the Sweden Democrats (SD) wanting to stop it, during a one-year period. This study analyzes news articles, as well as opinion-based publications in newspapers, to study the representation of different actors and their opinions, as well as the authors’ opinions and framing of DSH and SD’s aim to stop it.     Sammanfattning : This thesis analyzes Sweden's unique and puzzling approach to the COVID-19 pandemic by using the securitization framework, exploring if Sweden's strategy during the pandemic's first year reflects securitization, (de)securitization, or non-securitization. It employs content analysis to evaluate Sweden's response, analyzing primary sources and academic literature, and uses a discourse table based on existing theoretical studies by Barry Buzan, Ole Waever, and Jaap de Wilde (1998) and Lene Hansen (2012) to assess indicators of securitization, (de)securitization or non-securitization.
