    Sammanfattning : Mass spectroscopy imaging (MSI) has become a vital tool in modern research due to its ability to visualize the spatial distribution of molecules within tissue samples. The collaboration between researchers at AZ, the University of Gothenburg, and Chalmers University of Technology using the NanoSIMS instrument and MSI-SIMS technology has opened up new avenues of exploration in pharmaceutical development, particularly in examining drugs and metabolites at sub-cellular levels. 2. 2. Hyperspectral and multispectral satellite data analysis of nitrogen in grazed and ungrazed tundra in Långfjället, Sweden

    Master-uppsats, Göteborgs universitet/Institutionen för geovetenskaper

    Författare :Emma Dahlstedt; [2023-08-18]
    Nyckelord :Hyperspectral imaging; Imaging spectroscopy; Nitrogen; Reindeer; Herbivory; Tundra; Grazing;

    Sammanfattning : Reindeer are a keystone species in the circumpolar north, where they hold great cultural and ecological importance. Continued climate change threatens the long-term sustainability of reindeer husbandry. Reindeer can affect the tundra landscape, influencing the soil nutrient cycling, including the soil nitrogen availability. LÄS MER

  3. 3. The Neural Correlates of Sensory Processing Sensitivity : a Systematic Review

    Kandidat-uppsats, Högskolan i Skövde/Institutionen för biovetenskap

    Författare :Carolina Rundcrantz Zubcevic; [2023]
    Nyckelord :sensory processing sensitivity; highly sensitive person; personality trait; fMRI;

    Sammanfattning : Sensory processing sensitivity is an innate temperament trait characterized by deeper cognitive processing of stimuli, increased empathy and emotionality, ease of overstimulation, and heightened awareness of subtileties in the environment. This systematic review aims to review the literature that has investigated the neural correlates of sensory processing sensitivity. LÄS MER

  4. 4. A Machine Learning Approach on Analysis of Emission Spectra for Application in XFEL Experiments

    Uppsats för yrkesexamina på avancerad nivå, Uppsala universitet/Institutionen för fysik och astronomi

    Författare :Harald Agelii; [2023]
    Nyckelord :Structural biology; Machine learning; Neural networks; emission spectrum; XFEL; X-ray free electron laser; SFX; Serial femtosecond X-ray crystallography; Proteins; Diagnostics;

    Sammanfattning : In this thesis we investigate two potential applications of machine learning in the context of X-ray imaging and spectroscopy of biological samples, particularly such using X-ray free electron lasers (XFEL). We first investigate the possibility of using an emission spectrum, recorded from a sample after being probed by an incident X-ray, as a diagnostic tool. LÄS MER

  5. 5. DEVELOPING METHODS FOR WATER QUALITY MEASUREMENT : Using machine learning and remote sensing to predict absorbance with multispectral imaging

    Master-uppsats, Mälardalens universitet/Akademin för ekonomi, samhälle och teknik

    Författare :Ola Bratt; [2023]
    Nyckelord :Remote Sensing; Multivariate Analysis; Machine Learning; GIS; Spectroscopy; Spectral imaging; Multispectral imaging; Water Quality;

    Sammanfattning : Water resources play an important role in society and fulfill various functions such as providing drinking water, supporting industrial production and enhancing the overall landscape. Water bodies, such as rivers and lakes, are particularly important in this context. LÄS MER
