1. Characterization of bovine milk from indigenous species from Sri Lanka
Master-uppsats, SLU/Department of Molecular SciencesSammanfattning : Sri Lanka is a country in south Asia that from the beginning of the 21st century, until 2016 almost doubled their quantity in milk import, this to meet their national market demand for dairy products. The country is divided into different agroecological zones, which are the up-country, mid-country, and the lowlands. LÄS MER
2. Isolation of the native chloroplast proteome from plant for identification of protein-metabolite interactions
3. Development of biophysical methods for characterization of PROTACs
Uppsats för yrkesexamina på avancerad nivå, Uppsala universitet/BiokemiSammanfattning : Targeting protein with the aim of ubiquitin-labelling for degradation is a new and upand coming field of drug discovery. Proteolysis targeting chimeras (PROTACs) areheterobifunctional linker molecules that connects the target molecule to an E3ubiquitin ligase, subsequent ubiquitination of the target protein initiates the proteindegradation by the proteosome system. 4. Development of an antibioticsresistancebased method fordirected evolution of proteases
Master-uppsats, KTH/Skolan för kemi, bioteknologi och hälsa (CBH)Sammanfattning : Proteases have a fundamental role in regulating diverse biological processes and are important in the biotechnological and medical fields. Therapeutic proteases have great potential but have been limited due to the lack of high throughput protein engineering methods. LÄS MER
5. Identification of metabolite-protein interactions among enzymes of the Calvin Cycle in a CO2-fixing bacterium
Master-uppsats, KTH/Skolan för kemi, bioteknologi och hälsa (CBH)Sammanfattning : The Calvin – Benson cycle is the most widespread metabolic pathway capable of fixing CO2 in nature and a target of very high interest to metabolic engineers worldwide. In this study, 12 metabolites (ATP, AMP, NADP, NADPH, 2PG, 3PGA, FBP, RuBP, PEP, AKG, Ac-CoA and phenylalanine) were tested for protein – metabolite interactions against the proteome of Cupriavidus necator (previously Ralstonia eutropha) in the hopes of finding potential examples of allosteric regulation of the Calvin – Benson cycle.
