   Sammanfattning : The purpose of this study was to create knowledge and an understanding about how schoolsand fire rescues work in two communes, Helsingborg and Luleå. The other aim of this studywas to understand why there was a statistical difference regarding the school arson quantitybetween the two cities The following questions have been asked:• How do the schools and fire rescues work to prevent arson in schools?• What is the reason that there is a statistical difference when comparing the quantity ofschool arsons that occur in the two communes?
