Sammanfattning: Written essay investigates Gothenburg municipalitys´ new policy which tries to integrate unaccompanied minors in strong socio-economic neighborhoods. This essay therefore tries to answer the question of how prepared these communities are for integrating their new neighbors,- this is done by a case study of city district of Örgryte-Härlanda, which is one of many places planned for temporary accommodation for the youths. Teories used for analyzing the phenomena are a mix between sociological concepts (which looks at how and why people react as they do) and systems theory (which tries to see the whole systems components to locate weak and strong features in the system). The case study search for answers by looking at previous research, reading civic accounts, analyzing current healthiness in the area, making a survey for nearby associations, making an observation of space and place in planned areas, and finally an analysis of social medias reaction about the new plans. Results shows that the transition against integration seems to go quite well. The main-reason for that is first of all the access to many associations in the area, an element identified as important for integrating the children into a society. Systems theory shows a quite good communication and prevention-model about equality between municipality, associations and children in the area. Their is also good health, low criminality and a high amount of Swedes helping the refugee to get access to learning the language faster. Social media shows different feelings about the new settlements; some people are against the plans because of fear of loss in market values, culture and values. Others find it great and enriching for the area. Furthermore, many refugees was accepted entering the country at the same time, putting hard pressure on government and municipalities in finding places where people potentially could live. The fast process from Gothenburg municipality made some locals experience they were steamrolled by the authorities. Finally, the thesis sees problem in lack of space were people can meet, when the meeting is essential for integration, and therefor suggests more events organized by the local authorities.
