Sammanfattning: This study was served to unfold partly students in upper (senior) level of compulsory school and policeofficers attitudes and point of views on the upcomming gowernment bill on young offenders in the age of 15 and younger that commits crimes. We chose to mainly focus on the procedure where policeofficers have the rights to drugtest children under the age of 15 years without their parents approval. The study was based on a quantitative and qualitative method where we partly adopted a surrvey which contained 13 questions and was carried out to 168 students in the munticipal schools in Helsingborg City. The qualitative method was intended to the four policeofficers in the youthdivision i Helsingborg City to get further knowledge and information on children who used drugs. We also wanted to find out if the upcoming gowernment bill in some way involved different ways of working and if the law could have a prevented measure on children doing drugs or alreday had a drugabuse. We chose to apply Hirischis controll theory on the phenomenon to create a deeper understandig why poeople doesen´t comit crimes and why some of them do. This theory could help us understand why some of the children used drugs and comitted crimes and due to Hirischi, one of the explanations was found in a lack of parentingcontroll connected to children and crimes. One of the conclusions from the surrvey showed that the children with lower parentingcontroll more often comitted crimes and also that girls more often used drugs in another distinctions then boys.
