    Sammanfattning : This thesis investigates the oft-overlooked influence of the classifier's input during the assignment of library classifications and draws upon cultural transfer theory to shed light on the underlying principles that guide the process.     Sammanfattning : Syftet med denna uppsats har varit att jämföra indexeringen av humoristiska romaner i svenska bibliotekskataloger med sociala taggar på samma romaner på den sociala plattformen Goodreads, för att kunna utreda om sociala taggar har potential att fungera som ett komplement för indexeringen.
