The analysis methodology applied in this study is a descriptive idea analysis, which aims to identify values, descriptions, and prescriptions conveyed by the parties during their speeches and debates. Master-uppsats, FörsvarshögskolanSammanfattning : This study investigates how the supporting strategies of Swedish armed forces (SWAF) logistics and materiel procurement contributes to the crea-tion of national strategic autonomy. In a case study design, official strategy documents and actions of the Swe-dish government and authorities are examined through the lens of Mintzberg and Waters (1985) theory of strategy development combined with the appli-cation of logistical theories in a military context.
