  1. 1. Optimering av flyghastighet för flygplan

    Master-uppsats, KTH/Lättkonstruktioner, marina system, flyg- och rymdteknik, rörelsemekanik

    Författare :Louise Larsson; [2023]
    Nyckelord :Aircraft flight speed; flight operations; speed optimization; Cost Index; ECON speed; Flyghastighet; flygverksamhet; hastighetsoptimering; kostindex; ekonomisk hastighet;

    Sammanfattning : Optimization of flight operations is a way to reduce the impact of aviation on the environment and make the use of airspace more effective. Reductions in fuel consumption and flight time are further desired by airlines to minimize operational costs. LÄS MER

  2. 2. Deep Learning Model Deployment for Spaceborne Reconfigurable Hardware : A flexible acceleration approach

    Master-uppsats, KTH/Skolan för elektroteknik och datavetenskap (EECS)

    Författare :Javier Ferre Martin; [2023]
    Nyckelord :Space Situational Awareness; Deep Learning; Convolutional Neural Networks; FieldProgrammable Gate Arrays; System-On-Chip; Computer Vision; Dynamic Partial Reconfiguration; High-Level Synthesis; Rymdsituationstänksamhet; Djupinlärning; Konvolutionsnätverk; Omkonfigurerbara Field-Programmable Gate Arrays FPGAs ; System-On-Chip SoC ; Datorseende; Dynamisk partiell omkonfigurering; Högnivåsyntes.;

    Sammanfattning : Space debris and space situational awareness (SSA) have become growing concerns for national security and the sustainability of space operations, where timely detection and tracking of space objects is critical in preventing collision events. Traditional computer-vision algorithms have been used extensively to solve detection and tracking problems in flight, but recently deep learning approaches have seen widespread adoption in non-space related applications for their high accuracy. 3. 3. Benchmarking a 1 kW hybrid hydrogen fuel cell system

    Master-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Institutionen för energivetenskaper

    Författare :Jonathan Envall; [2023]
    Nyckelord :PEMFC; fuel cell; UAV; hybrid; Technology and Engineering;

    Sammanfattning : Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV's) offer great versatility in the tasks that they may perform and they are today used in many sectors. The H24LEO project, administered by the Lund University School of Aviation, aims to develop and demonstrate a hybrid proton-exchange membrane fuel cell-powered UAV to aid in search and rescue operations performed by the Swedish Maritime Administration, and reduce the greenhouse gas emissions compared to similar work performed by helicopters. 5. 5. Drones for Sea Rescue: Lab and Field Experiments on Camera Gimbal Control

    Master-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Institutionen för elektro- och informationsteknik

    Författare :Alexander Sandström; [2023]
    Nyckelord :Drones; Search and Rescue; Unmanned Aerial Vehicle; UAV; gimbal; camera control; ArduPilot; Quality of Experience; QoE; Technology and Engineering;

    Sammanfattning : The objective of this thesis has been to improve the camera controls of a fixed-wing drone to be used in maritime search-and-rescue operations by the Swedish Sea Rescue Society (SSRS). A gimbal control interface (GCI) has been implemented that displays the video feed of the drone camera while taking control inputs from a joystick that moves its view in real-time. LÄS MER
