  1. 1. Utmaningar i geometriundervisning: en djupdykning i innehåll, elevers missuppfattningar och lärarinterventioner

    Uppsats för yrkesexamina på grundnivå, Malmö universitet/Fakulteten för lärande och samhälle (LS)

    Författare :Linnea Listring; Ida Green; [2024]
    Nyckelord :geometric objects; two- and three dimensional objects; relational understanding; instrumental understanding; teaching methods; Van Hiele instructional model; practical elements; daily life;

    Sammanfattning : This text discusses final results from empirical studies, scientific articles and literature from the period 1990-2023, concerning teachers’ knowledge, students’ misconceptions and various teaching methods related to geometric objects. The results highlight challenges for both teachers and students in understanding and defining geometric shapes and figures. LÄS MER

  2. 2. Shape depiction using Local Light Alignment : Evaluating the shape enhancement capabilities of the Local Light Alignment technique at multiple scales

    Master-uppsats, KTH/Skolan för elektroteknik och datavetenskap (EECS)

    Författare :Edvard Ahlsén; [2023]
    Nyckelord :Shape depiction; Non-photorealistic rendering; Shading; Multiple scales; Formskildring; ickerealistisk rendering; skuggning; skalrymdsmetoder;

    Sammanfattning : Local Light Alignment is a new shading based technique in the field of shape depiction, a field which concerns itself with techniques to represent and enhance the three-dimensional (3D) shape of objects in two-dimensional (2D) visual media. The main idea of Local Light Alignment is to locally adjust the incoming direction of light to create contrast in a way that enhances the perception of shape and surface detail. LÄS MER

  3. 3. Procedural generation and weathering of building facades : Replicating shape and distribution of wear-and-tear on real-world building facades

    Master-uppsats, KTH/Skolan för elektroteknik och datavetenskap (EECS)

    Författare :Love Wessman; [2023]
    Nyckelord :procedural modeling; building facades; wear and tear; procedurell modellering; byggnadsfasader; slitage;

    Sammanfattning : Manual modeling of building facades can be a cumbersome process. Instead, procedurally modeling building facades is a practical and quick way to achieve impressive visual results. This paper presents a method for prototyping 2D facades existing in a 3d environment, with the inclusion of shading-based procedural wear-and-tear. LÄS MER

  4. 4. Aktiv problemlösning : Matematik med hjälp av rörelse

    Uppsats för yrkesexamina på avancerad nivå, Karlstads universitet/Institutionen för matematik och datavetenskap (from 2013)

    Författare :Elin Källgarn; [2023]
    Nyckelord :matematik med kroppen; rörelse; rörelser; mönster; handgester; varierande arbetssätt; embodied cogition; intervention; praktisk matematik; problemlösning; tallinjen; geometriska former;

    Sammanfattning : Detta examensarbete är en intervention där jag undersöker vilka rörelser lågstadieelever använder sig av när de arbetar med problemlösning samt hur dessa förändras över tid. Under problemlösningen får eleverna möjlighet att använda sig av både handgester och större kroppsrörelser. LÄS MER

  5. 5. "Det lundomsusade Torup" - Ideologiska och globala perspektiv på ett skånskt godslandskap

    Kandidat-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Historisk arkeologi

    Författare :Agnes Jakobsson; [2023]
    Nyckelord :Landscape archaeology; early modern; estate; globalisation; ideology; History and Archaeology;

    Sammanfattning : In this essay an attempt is made to interpret the landscape at the Scanian estate Torup from two perspectives not commonly used in the study of postmedieval landscapes: the ideological rather than the economical-functional, and the global rather than the local. The landscape is studied through historical maps and images as well as through field observations made during walks in the landscape, and several features are identified which indicate that the landscape was shaped, at least in part, by ideology, which was in turn influenced by global tendencies.
