  1. 1. Long-term Forecasting Heat Use in Sweden's Residential Sector using Genetic Algorithms and Neural Network

    Master-uppsats, Högskolan i Halmstad/Akademin för företagande, innovation och hållbarhet

    Författare :Alireza Momtaz; Mohammad Befkin; [2024]
    Nyckelord :Genetic Algorithm; Neural Network; Forecasting; Heat Use;

    Sammanfattning : In this study, the parameters of population, gross domestic product (GDP), heat price, U-value, and temperature have been used to predict heat consumption for Sweden till 2050. It should be noted that the heat consumption has been considered for multi-family houses. Most multi-family houses (MFH) get their primary heat from district heating (DH). LÄS MER

  2. 2. Analys och gestaltning av återbrukade restmaterial : Inventering av materialflöden som kan bidra till ett cirkulärt byggande i region Norrbotten

    Uppsats för yrkesexamina på avancerad nivå, Luleå tekniska universitet/Arkitektur och vatten

    Författare :Maja Fredriksson; Linnea Axelsson; [2024]
    Nyckelord :Circular economy; circular construction; reuse; material flows; residual materials; inventory; multi-criteria decision analysis; design; surface layer materials; construction sector; manufacturing industry; Cirkulär ekonomi; cirkulärt byggande; återbruk; materialflöden; restmaterial; inventering; multikriterieanalys; gestaltning; ytskiktsmaterial; byggsektorn; tillverkningsindustrin;

    Sammanfattning : För att världen ska bli mer socialt, ekonomiskt och miljömässigt hållbar till år 2030 skapade FN de globala målen. En omställning till cirkulär ekonomi är nödvändig för att nå de globala målen. Cirkulär ekonomi innebär att resurser används i effektiva cirkulära flöden och ersätter jungfruligt material. LÄS MER

  3. 3. Uncertainties in characterising historical heatwaves in Europe

    Master-uppsats, Göteborgs universitet/Institutionen för geovetenskaper

    Författare :Simon Abrahamsson; [2023-08-18]
    Nyckelord :;

    Sammanfattning : Heatwaves are periods of excessively hot weather which can pose a threat to both the people and the agriculture affected by them, for this reason it is important for us to understand and be able to predict heatwaves. This study will therefore investigate historical heatwaves in Europe and compare the quality of different 2m surface temperature datasets and examine the possibility of using 3D temperature data to identify heatwaves. 4. 4. Effect of temperature on early stage adhesion during TiAlN sliding against Inconel 718 and Stainless steel 316L : High temperature tribology

    Master-uppsats, Luleå tekniska universitet/Institutionen för teknikvetenskap och matematik

    Författare :Ahsan Ali; [2023]
    Nyckelord :High temperature tribology; Early-stage adhesion; Adhesive wear; Friction; Wear resistant coatings; Physical vapour deposition PVD coatings; TiAlN; Tungsten carbide WC Co ; Difficult to machine super alloys; Inconel 718; Stainless steel 316L; High-performance materials; Abrasion; Oxidation; Chipping; Ploughing; Characterization;

    Sammanfattning : High-performance materials such as stainless steels and nickel based super alloys are widely used in demanding applications where high mechanical and thermal properties are required. The applications of super alloys are mainly found in jet engines, power plants and gas turbines demanding high fatigue strength, corrosion and oxidation resistance as well as wear resistant properties. 5. 5. Solar Photovoltaic Thermal Collectors and Ground Source Heat Pumps for Commercial Buildings : Case study in Sweden

    Master-uppsats, KTH/Skolan för industriell teknik och management (ITM)

    Författare :Doris Dijak; Elin Torstensson; [2023]
    Nyckelord :Ground Source Heat Pump; Photovoltaic Thermal Collectors; Borehole Thermal Energy Storage; Free Cooling.; Bergvärmepumpssystem; Termiska Solceller; Borrhålsbaserade Termiska Energilager; Frikyla.;

    Sammanfattning : In order to reduce emissions from the building sector, which stands for than a fifth of the global energy consumption today, efficient and fossil free heating and cooling systems are of importance. This study investigates the combination of solar photovoltaic thermal collectors and ground source heat pump systems in order to regenerate energy to the ground in combination with free cooling.
