    Sammanfattning : El presente estudio tiene como objetivo investigar cómo se representa Suecia en seis libros de texto empleados en la enseñanza de ELE en el bachillerato. Se pretende contestar las preguntas de qué y quiénes representan a Suecia en los libros seleccionados, y por analizar estas preguntas además se llega a conclusiones acerca de los discursos sobre Suecia que se van re-produciendo en los libros de texto.     Sammanfattning : This study aims to investigate the representation of Latin America in verbal and visual text in Swedish textbooks for Spanish teaching. More specifically, this analysis examines how much of the text is represented by Latin American people in comparison to European people, how Latin Americans are represented and how large the prevalence of each form of representation is, as well as which verbal and visual patterns are present in the textbooks.     Sammanfattning : This work aims to relate Spanish America music with the research from Glick et Al (2000) in their study Beyond prejudice as simple antipathy, where they conclude that the level of sexism in a society correlates to that country's gender equality. To analyze this relationship, the ranking published by the UN on gender equality between countries has been used as source and the Spanish-American country that occupies the first place in the ranking in gender equality and the country that occupies the last were selected.
