  1. 6. On the superconducting critical temperature in Eliashberg theory

    Master-uppsats, KTH/Fysik

    Författare :Max Oliveberg; [2021]
    Nyckelord :Eliashberg; Superconductivity; Mathematical Physics; Eliashberg; Supraledning; Matematisk Fysik;

    Sammanfattning : This thesis presents a brief synopsis of the derivations of the BCS and Eliashberg equations. An analytic formula for the critical temperature $T_c$ in Eliashberg theory is derived, which contains a sum of iterative integral corrections. LÄS MER

  2. 7. Kartläggning av förändringen i klimatpåverkan för en fordonsflotta

    Kandidat-uppsats, Uppsala universitet/Institutionen för geovetenskaper

    Författare :Arvid Jonsson; Moa Toll; Klara Friberg; Gustav Carlsson; Daniel Åkerlind; [2021]
    Nyckelord :Alternativa drivmedel; fordon; fordonsflotta; fossilfri; förnybar; GWP; Global Warming Potentials; klimatpåverkan; koldioxidekvivalenter; LCA; Livscykelanalys; växthusgasutsläpp; statistisk signifikans.;

    Sammanfattning : From the year 2018 to 2020 Uppsala Skolfastigheter AB changed their vehicle fleet to follow Uppsala municipality’s goal of a fossil-fuel-free vehicle fleet. Fossil-fuel-free, according to the municipality’s regulations, means that a vehicle can run on fossil-free fuel. LÄS MER

  3. 8. Scheme Theory & Weak Mordell-Weil for Elliptic Curves Over Number Fields

    Kandidat-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Matematik LTH; Lunds universitet/Matematik (naturvetenskapliga fakulteten)

    Författare :Carl-Fredrik Lidgren; [2021]
    Nyckelord :algebraic geometry; schemes; scheme theory; elliptic curves; Mordell-Weil; weak Mordell-Weil; algebraic number theory; arithmetic geometry; number theory; geometry; Mathematics and Statistics;

    Sammanfattning : We provide an introduction to scheme-theoretic algebraic geometry, which studies spaces that are in essence locally solutions to systems of polynomial equations, and prove the weak Mordell-Weil theorem. The weak Mordell-Weil theorem states that for an elliptic curve $E$ over a number field $K$, the quotient $E(K)/mE(K)$ is finite for all $m\geq 2$. LÄS MER

  4. 9. Long-term effects of a synbiotic intervention in ADHD-patients : 18-month follow-up

    Uppsats för yrkesexamina på avancerad nivå, Linnéuniversitetet/Institutionen för psykologi (PSY)

    Författare :Jaqueline Fricke Palmell; [2020]
    Nyckelord :Synbiotic intervention; probiotics; prebiotics; microbiota; ADHD; autism; emotion regulation; functional impairment; lactic acid bacteria; inflammation; anti-inflammatory; Synbiotika; probiotika; prebiotika; mikrobiota; intervention; ADHD; autism; emotionsreglering; funktionsnedsättning; mjölksyrabakterier; inflammation; anti-inflammatorisk;

    Sammanfattning : A link between the gut and the brain has been proposed to influence psychiatric disorders. Probiotics have been suggested to modify the gut microbiota and thereby improve autism symptoms in children. Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) has high comorbidity with other neuropsychiatric diagnoses, including autism. LÄS MER

  5. 10. Movement initiation and execution in 6 - 8 year old children born preterm: effects of gestational age and physical activity

    Uppsats för yrkesexamina på avancerad nivå, Umeå universitet/Institutionen för psykologi

    Författare :Klara Stjernholm; Lisa Wennergren Gros; [2020]
    Nyckelord :Prematurity; movement planning; kinematics; physical activity; cognitive abilities; Prematuritet; rörelseplanering; kinematik; fysisk aktivitet; kognitivförmåga;

    Sammanfattning : The purpose of this study was to explore differences in movement initiation and execution, and their associations with amount of physical activity (PA) and cognitive abilities, in 6 to 8 year old children born PT compared to peers born at term. The sample consisted of in total 78 children divided in subgroups, 16 born very preterm (VPT), 24 born moderate preterm (MPT) and 38 age matched controls born at term (FT) with no diagnosed cognitive or motor impairments.
