Sammanfattning: This paper is a part of the course PPU305 at Mälardalen University and is a bachelor thesis. Husmuttern AB is a company that proposed a new kind of solution of flow racks, which is optimized for specific kit boxes and is designed with efficiency and surface efficiency in focus. This meant that new solutions needed to be developed, which would have to work, despite these new requirements that were placed on the already existing product. The project as a whole was planned and executed using the generic product development process, with a partial element of QFD. The above mentioned formulate the research question for this project: RQ: How can efficiency be increased while reducing the working surface of a flow rack? The result was a product that works in a triangular system or an ABC system as the developer choose to explain it. The solution saved space, while at the same time, saving lead times as more kit boxes can fit than before. The system is made up of a scaffold, which receives an upper box for unloading, two conveyor belts tied with rods on each side at a specific angle, and a lower box for pick-up.The material choices that have been made for the various components within this product have been carbon steel and aluminum alloy 6061, the choices of these materials have been made because they are economically favorable, and obtain good structural properties.During the work, power simulations were also performed to strengthen the design's durability using Solidworks Simulation. These simulations demonstrated overengineered results, which means that in terms of design, the design is safe for the requirements specifications set for the maximal amount of weight. It also gave important indications of what the construction would look like during overload
