Sammanfattning: The academic education within the human resource program, working life and organizationaland personnel work has become increasingly popular and in connection with this, the discussion about matching between recent graduates and the labor market has increased. The study will be limited to HR professionals. The choice of the delimitation is based on previous research, which has shown, among other things, that employers feel that newly graduated personnel scientists do not meet the demand for competence and skills (Hallier & Summers, 2011). It will therefore be interesting to study this based on the experiences and point of view of HR professionals. The aim of this study is thus to investigate how newly graduated HR professionals feel that they match employers' demand and expectations for competence. In order to answer the purpose, a qualitative study has been carried out on newly graduated HR professionals in working life. The study's empirical data will be analyzed with the support of Bourdieu's capital and field as well as the utility and educational perspective of employability. The result of the study is that HR professionals feel to some extent that they match the employer's demand. Furthermore, the study shows that the matching problem is about different levels of skills and competence.
